Slovak Telekom is the largest telecommunications operator in Slovakia. Under the Telekom brand, it offers a wide portfolio of fixed-line and mobile services for individuals, households and corporate customers. The company invests tens of millions of euros annually in the development of its own infrastructure. Fiber services are already available to 1,395,000 households. In December 2020, it launched the first commercial 5G network in Slovakia, which now covers more than 99.1% of the population. Its mobile networks have been repeatedly recognized – the company received the Best in Test award from umlaut (P3) seven times in a row between 2015 and 2019. Most recently, Telekom was named the Best and Fastest Mobile Network in Slovakia by Ookla. Slovak Telekom is part of the multinational Deutsche Telekom Group, with Deutsche Telekom Europe B.V. as its sole shareholder.
