“The integration of our technological background, infrastructure, and know-how will create new opportunities for developing solutions that reflect the future of television and connectivity in Slovakia. We look forward to welcoming new customers and, just like our existing ones, we are ready to provide both new and current customers with the best services and customer care. We are joining forces to raise the bar even higher in terms of quality, reliability, and digital comfort,” said Melinda Szabó, CEO of Slovak Telekom and T-Mobile Czech Republic.
One brand, one operator, and new benefits
The merger will bring greater service comfort to existing DIGI SLOVAKIA customers thanks to Telekom’s stable and modern infrastructure, faster access to innovations, new internet TV features, and digital services, as well as easier service management through digital tools. After the merger, DIGI SLOVAKIA customers will be able to continue using their current services or opt for Telekom services based on their preferences. All customers will automatically gain access to the benefits of the popular Magenta Moments platform, offering more than 400 deals, discounts, benefits, and gifts.
Smooth transition and changes to DIGI SLOVAKIA customer touchpoints
DIGI SLOVAKIA customers will continue to use their current services seamlessly, without interruption, and under the agreed conditions. They will be informed of all changes via email and mail, and information will be available and regularly updated on the website www.digislovakia.sk/zlucenie.
As part of the preparation for the merger, all physical DIGI SLOVAKIA stores will close as of 1 July 2026. Customers will continue to have full access to the customer call centre, allowing them to conveniently handle service requests, support, and account management. Those who prefer personal contact can visit Slovak Telekom stores during the summer, where staff will be happy to provide assistance and advice. After the merger, customers will have access to all Slovak Telekom branches and the full customer support provided by the operator.
DIGI Slovakia, a major provider of satellite television, has in recent years focused primarily on the development of internet TV and bundled offerings combining TV with fixed internet, reflecting changing customer behaviour and building its own customer base. Following the dissolution of DIGI SLOVAKIA, Ltd., business continuity, rights, obligations, and contractual relationships will remain preserved under Slovak Telekom, which will become its universal legal successor, assuming all rights, obligations, and liabilities.
