Slovak Telekom brings a new retail format to Slovakia: Magenta Experience Center

In collaboration with the Deutsche Telekom Group, Slovak Telekom is bringing a new customer space concept to Slovakia and opening the first Magenta Experience Center at the Eurovea shopping centre.
  • A new format instead of a traditional store: Magenta Experience Center connects technology, community and experience

  • A hub of activity: event space in the iconic “egg”, co‑working, podcasts, VR and gaming

  • Open to everyone: a community space accessible to the public with online room booking

In collaboration with the Deutsche Telekom Group, Slovak Telekom is introducing a new customer experience concept to Slovakia and opening the first Magenta Experience Center at the Eurovea shopping centre. This modern technological and community space is part of the Deutsche Telekom Group’s strategic initiative aimed at transforming retail and redefining the traditional store into an experiential and multifunctional environment. With this, Bratislava joins cities such as Prague, Brno and Warsaw, where the group has already implemented its most advanced retail concept.

“Magenta Experience Center represents a fundamental shift in how we understand customer space. It is not just about the technologies themselves, but about how we make them accessible, explain them and connect them to people’s everyday lives. We have created an open space available to everyone – for work, learning, meetings and relaxation. This unique combination makes Magenta Experience Center a concept built on authentic experiences, community and meaningful use of technology,” said Martina Kandera, Director of the B2C Commercial Division at Slovak Telekom.

Architecture of experience and a new hub of activity

The more than 408 m² space was created in cooperation with the architectural studio art1st from Budapest. With its open and modular design and emphasis on sustainable materials, the interior resembles a modern cultural centre rather than a traditional store. The design is complemented by illustrations of Bratislava landmarks, adding a strong local character.

The centrepiece is the Event Room – a multifunctional conference space located in Eurovea’s iconic glass “egg”. Equipped with professional audiovisual technology and a capacity of up to 50 people, it is designed for events, discussions, workshops and community gatherings. It also enables connections with Magenta Experience Centers in Prague and Brno, supporting hybrid and cross-border events.

Work, creativity and technology under one roof

Visitors can make free use of the Co‑Working Café and Future Factory – open spaces designed for work, meetings and the development of innovative ideas.

Magenta Experience Center also offers a professional podcast studio and a modern gaming zone, including PlayStation and VR.

Visitors can explore the benefits of the Magenta Moments loyalty program, including exclusive offers available only within this space. A unique feature of the centre is the Multi‑sensory Room – a space designed for relaxation, focus and sensory rest, bringing an inclusive element to Slovak retail.

An open space for everyone

The Magenta Experience Center in Bratislava is open to everyone, not only Telekom customers, while still functioning as a full-service branch with experienced sales consultants and professional advice.

The openness of the concept is further enhanced by the option to reserve selected spaces. The Event Room and podcast studio can be booked via an online reservation system at www.magentaexperience.sk.

The Magenta Experience Center will also host a regular program of diverse events – from expert discussions, workshops and educational activities to community meetups, presentations and public events. Visitors can stay informed about the program via the Magenta Experience Center website and its social media channels. This dynamic program aims to transform the center into more than just a space – into an active community where people meet, share experiences and discover technologies in everyday life. With this concept, Slovak Telekom is opening a new chapter in customer experience in Slovakia.
